For 21 years, we’ve built our business with a customer-first mentality. We always offer free returns and full refunds for any reason. My wife was in the middle of assisting you before we took a late lunch as a family. Realize we were responding to your concerns on a weekend afternoon—yet you chose to leave this review during that time.
You first claimed that we altered your artwork. That is simply not true. Our software timestamps confirm no edits were made. Upon review, the logo in your design was scaled down to about 60-65% of its original size when you created it. We assumed this was intentional and produced the skins exactly as designed. Now you say the design you uploaded was flawed and that we should have reached out to verify. When we see consistent sizing across multiple orders, we trust our customers’ choices and don’t second-guess their intent. Your order shipped within one business day.
Additionally, the artwork you provided is inherently too small to cover the laptop lid effectively. It was a low-quality JPEG, only 2.5 inches wide at 300 DPI and 52 KB in size. For future reference, I suggest having your logo recreated in high resolution or vector format. Many designers charge $35-$50/hour with a half-hour minimum for this type of work.
Regarding the minor silvering (air bubbles) in the black skin, this is a common and temporary characteristic of cold laminate on dark colors. These bubbles will disappear once the skin is properly applied and bonded.
Amanda offered to remake the skins at no cost, including attempting to upscale your artwork, for just $5 to cover shipping: 'If you cover shipping I will reprint. We do not call every order and verify.... the email receipt has a preview link on it beside the item. We have no communication from you asking for any specifics.' You rejected this offer, saying 'God don't like ugly' and now accuse us of lacking integrity, even though we were trying to fix an issue caused by your design choices.
Regardless, I’ve issued you a full refund. Please discard the skins.
